First Verb - to start (execute) the first command (verb) available in the list of supported commands (usually the "Edit" OLE object, i.e. open the OLE object inside Editor).
Second Verb - to start the second command (verb) available in the list of supported commands (usually the "Open" OLE object, i.e. open the OLE object in its own application window).

Answer Confirmation

Intended for setting (the degree of) confirmation for a particular answer, and the points assigned to the correct answer of the question.

This toolbar has two input fields:

  1. An input field for setting the confirmation factor for a particular answer (only if the answer combination type for the current question is "Simple Answer"). The confirmation factor is set up in percents.
  2. An input field for setting the number of points assigned to the correct answer on the current question.

The toolbar also has one button:

Correct Answer - to set the selected answer as the correct answer (answer confirmation factor is 100%). (Only if the question type for the current question is "Simple Answer").

Container Placement

Intended for set-up optimization (correct up to one pixel) of the question fields size and position. Sets the way they will be shown in Test.

This toolbar has 4 input fields:

  1. Input field for entering the selected container's left side position in pixels (starting from the left side of the screen).
  2. Input field for entering the selected container's top in pixels (starting from the top of the screen + size of the upper toolbar in the Test).
  3. Input field for entering the selected container's width in pixels.
  4. Input field for entering the selected container's height in pixels.
Question Timing

Intended for setting up the time limit for showing the current question in the test. (You can choose to limit testing time either by entering the total time limit for all questions in the test or by entering time limits for each question. This toolbar is used when you prefer the second one).

This toolbar has a time limit input field. This field is enabled if you have checked the "Use Question Timing" checkbox in the Test Properties dialog (select Properties... from the File menu).

Combinations

Intended for setting up the correct answers when the current question type is "Answer Set", "Ordered Answer Set" or "Association".

This toolbar has:

  1. 20 checkboxes;
  2. Selected answer indicator;
  3. Answer accuracy input field.

If the question type is "Answer Set", then you only need to check the checkboxes that do correspond to the needed set of answers for the current question (first checkbox correspond to first answer, second - to second, etc.). It does no matter in what order you will do it.

If the question type is "Ordered Answer Set", then you need to check the checkboxes in the needed (correct) order.

If the question type is "Association", then you need to check the checkboxes by pairs (one item from first group and one from second group). If the question type is "Association", then checkboxes are divided into two groups. Just like an answers, items in one group are associations to items in another group.

It is hard to do a mistake when setting an answer, because the selected answer indicator always shows your the current selection.

The answer accuracy input field helps you to customize answer accuracy (i.e. you can allow to answer the question a little bit wrong. For example, the answer must be close to correct as much as 90%). Just enter the current question answer accuracy (in percents, but without % sign) in this input field.

Sections

Intended for assigning the current question to any available section (named, logical part of the test).

This toolbar has a section selection dropdown menu. This dropdown menu is active only if the test has at least one section (see Sections for more information).

Change Password... - to change the current test password (see the The Change Password Dialog).

Do not forget your password! It will be very hard or practically impossible to recover it (see UniTest System Tests and Test Results Protection).

Lock - to lock the current work session. Useful if you need to leave your working place for a few minutes with the program working.

Interactivity

Intended for setting OLE objects interactivity. You can select here the needed command to make OLE object interactive (for example, "Play"). In the test this command will be used to make object (i.e. question or answer variant) interactive.

Contains a combo box to set up the required command for the selected field in the current question.

Editor Modes

Intended for turning on/off the Editor working modes.

This toolbar has 2 buttons:

Positioning Mode - to turn on/off the Editor positioning mode. The positioning Mode helps to set up the question fields position and to size them by dragging/sizing (see Positioning Mode).
